The Supreme Novices’ Hurdle is the traditional curtain raiser on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival. It is a Grade 1 National Hunt hurdle race open to novice hurdlers aged four years or older. The race covers a distance of around 2 miles and 110 yards over eight hurdles.
The current champion is Vautour who won the 2014 race at 7/2.
The total prize fund in 2015 is £140,000
