Live on ITV4 & ESPN: Thurs 18.00: Fulham are 6/5 with Stan James for a Europa League win but Birmingham and Celtic could struggle.
Fulham have taken four points from their opening two Europa League group matches and they look decent value at 6/5 with Stan James to make a significant move towards qualification for the knockout phase by acquiring all three points at Wisla Krakow.
The Polish outfit, 11/4 outsiders, are pointless after two outings and went down 1-0 to Odense in their only home match so a solid looking Cottagers side should be able to edge them out.
A victory for Martin Jol’s men by one catches the eye then at 11/4 courtesy of Skybet and indeed Fulham could well follow Odense’s lead by bagging the only goal at the Stadion Miejski, an outcome Paddy Power quote at 6/1.
Birmingham landed maximum points at NK Maribor last time out but they will struggle to replicate that result against a strong-looking Club Bruges. Totesport rate the Belgians as odds-on favourites at 5/6 and as the hosts have racked up maximum points in Group H, they look well placed to send Chris Hughton’s 18/5 outsiders (bet365) home empty-handed.
Also set to struggle on the road, are stuttering Celtic whose current form doesn’t bode well ahead of the trip to Rennes. The Hoops have won just one of their last four SPL matches but more crucially they have lost five of their last seven away fixtures in Europe, a record that is 7/10 via Stan James to worsen in France.
Furthermore, Celtic could struggle to even score at the Route de Lorient, where Rennes are 13/8 with to prevail ‘to nil’.
