It is now just even money with Ladbrokes that Carlos Tevez will play for Manchester City again after injury to Sergio Aguero.
That injury, plus a surge of money on an apparently impossible reconciliation between Mancini and Tevez, has forced Ladbrokes to slash their odds.
It had been 3/1 that the under-fire Argentinian would ever wear the City shirt again.
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “The Aguero injury has added another twist to the latest soap-opera at City. Maybe Mancini hasn’t seen the back of Tevez just yet.”
