Live on ESPN: Sun 16.30: Hannover are a decent 5/4 with Betdaq to continue their good start and send Hertha Berlin home with nothing.
Hannover added to their good start to the Bundesliga season with a 2-1 midweek Europa League win against Sevilla and Betdaq make them 2.25 (5/4) favs to beat Hertha Berlin on Sunday.
Hertha have had a poor start; losing at home to Nurnberg was followed up with a late draw away at Hamburg and they come here as Stan James’ 11/4 outsiders. A draw is probably the best they can hope for, 13/5, also with Stan James, but in truth it’s the odds-against quote about Hannover that cannot be ignored.
With both league games and their Europa League tie ending in 2-1 victories, it’s hard to ignore Totesport’s 8/1 quote about another 2-1 victory for Hannover while Sportingbet have 16/1 about a more comfortable 3-1 win.
Hertha aren’t bad in front of goal and Hannover aren’t exactly solid at the back so backing both teams to score at 8/11 () is reasonably strong while Jan Schlaudraff, who has already hit the net three times this season, is an outstanding 7/1 with bet365 to open goalscoring proceedings.
Earlier in the day, but not televised, Mainz are 6/4 with Coral to beat Schalke. Mainz have a habit of starting the season well and after Schalke’s miserable showing midweek, the 6/4 looks good. Betdaq have 5.5 (9/2) about a Mainz and Hannover double.
