Live on Skysports 3: Fri 20.00: 2008 Masters champ Trevor Immelman is 10/1 with Stan James for the Greenbrier Classic after a first round 64.
South African Trevor Immelman’s impressive six-under-par 64 was enough to give him the first round lead in the Greenbrier Classic at the Old White TPC and the 2008 Masters winner was subsequently slashed by Stan James to 10/1 to go on and claim victory in West Virginia.
Jostling for favouritism however, are Webb Simpson and Gary Woodland who are in to 7/1 apiece with bet365 and Sportingbet respectively after both carding a five-under 65 to lie one stroke off the lead.
A further shot back is the well fancied Brendon de Jonge, now quoted at 12/1 by Betfred and Phil Mickelson’s level par 70 means he is chalked up by at 20/1.
Elsewhere, Kyle Stanley is also rated at 20/1, this time by bet365, after he shot a 66 to lie two strokes behind Immelman while Skybet price Charles Howell III at 20/1 after his two-under 68 and Billy Mayfair, part of a clutch of players sharing second place, is now 40/1 at Totesport.
