Crawley are odds-on at 7/10 with to see off AFC Wimbledon in a play-off to reach the Carling Cup first round on Friday.

Aided by home advantage, a strong Crawley outfit are rated as 7/10 favourites by to book a trip to Selhurst Park while last season’s Blue Square Premier play-off winners are a 4/1 shot at Sportingbet and Totesport quote the tie at 13/5 to require extra-time.
As League Two title favourites, the ambitious hosts should have the edge at Broadfield but as this is the first competitive outing of the campaign for both teams, it’s not exactly easy to predict exactly how it will pan out.
It certainly doesn’t look set to be an easy night’s work for the Reds and arguably the most tempting wager is Paddy Power’s 13/5 for Crawley to shade it by one, although punters should undoubtedly tread carefully.
