Richard Hughes is the 4/7 favourite with Ladbrokes to be crowned top jockey at Glorious Goodwood at the close of day one at the races.
Rival Ryan Moore is 3/1 with Silvestre de Sousa at 8/1 and Tom Queally a 12/1 chance for the Racing UK-sponsored award.
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “Hughes has moved into a clear lead and with some eye-catching bookings coming up, he’ll really take some pegging back.
“We’ll almost certainly be in the unusual position of cheering on Hughes in the Sussex Stakes. The money for Tom Queally’s mount Frankel has been enormous and we’re hoping Canford Cliffs can do us a favour”
