Live on BBC 1: Sat 13.00 & Sun 13.00: Sebastien Vettel is 11/10 (Betfred) to delight the Nurburgring crowd and win the German GP.
With the return of exhaust-blown diffusers, ruled out just minutes before the start of the British GP, Vettel and Red Bull should get right back on track. Betfred quote the German champion at 11/10 to win in his own country while Red Bull teammate Mark Webber is 7/1 with Sportingbet.
The British GP winner of 2 weeks ago, Fernando Alonso, commands a 10/3 price with Ladbrokes and Ferrari were quick to credit the car changes and the driver, as opposed to the short-comings of other teams, for his win. Alonso, who won here last year, could be a real challenge for Vettel but may have to settle for a podium place, 4/9 with Paddy Power.
The McLarens are next in the betting, 2008 champion Lewis Hamilton is Betdaq’s 8/1 chance while Jenson Button is further back on 16/1 (Stan James). The two British drivers are still performing well but the team must catch up to their standards. Button is 9/4 for a podium place (Blue Square).
Crowd favourite and German legend Michael Schumacher will be practically willed around the track on Sunday but at 100/1 to win (Totesport) may not be on top of the podium come Sunday. He is 2/1 with Blue Square to take a creditable top 6 finish and a tempting 4/7 with Skybet to make the final top 10. Finally, Felipe Massa in his Ferrari could be one to watch, he is 9/2 with bet365 to make the podium.
