JPresumably Frankie Dettori could have headed up to Hamilton to ride Hunter’s Light in the Listed Glasgow Stakes but he instead rides at Doncaster’s evening meeting, before which he goes to Leicester for just one ride aboard Laatafreet (4:25) who can land the O2 Maiden Stakes.
The Singspiel colt shaped really well in a Kempton maiden that has worked out well last October and a reproduction of that run should be good enough here.
Up at Cartmel Dunowen Point (2:50) can land the Hadwins Beginners’ Chase on his debut over the larger obstacles for Donald McCain and Jason Maguire.
A useful hurdler, the son of Old Vic is bred to be much better over fences and a proficient round of jumping can see him account for Cool Touch, who was of similar ability over timber.
