Mark Cavendish has been cut to 2-1 (from 3-1) by Coral win the green jersey at the Tour de France, after picking up his first stage win of this year’s event.
Coral have also trimmed is price of winning the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award to 40-1 (from 50-1).
“After a slow start Cav now has a win on the board and no doubt more to come. And as he proved last year by winning on the Champs Elysees, he will fight to the end and has every chance of winning the green jersey he so narrowly lost out on last year,” said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.
Alberto Contador is the odds-on 10-11 favourite to win the Tour, with Andy Schleck next in the betting at 13-8. Bradley Wiggins is handily placed in sixth place and is 25-1 to win outright.
