Live on Skysports 2: Thu 20.00: Jason Day is 12/1 (Betfred) to take the John Deere Classic title away from Steve Stricker this week.
Day has had a great 2011 up until now, recently recording T6 at the Players Champs, 5th at the Byron Nelson and 2nd to a run away McIlroy at the US Open. Betfred make him there 12/1 2nd fav.
Steve Stricker is the almost default fav, Stan James going 7/1 about the double defending champ. Stricker followed up his win here in 2009 with a course record -26 in 2010 and the 5th in the world will certainly be a main contender at TPC Deere Run.
David Toms, 25/1 with Totesport, missed a couple of cuts following his Crowne Plaza win but looked in better touch at the Travelers Champs, finishing T17. Defending British Open champion Louis Oosthuizen warms up for Royal St George here this week, Boylesports have 45/1 on the South African.
