A full six weeks before the start of the new Premiership season, poor old Fulham have to start playing competitive fixtures as their Europa League campaign gets under way at Craven Cottage.
With the players likely to have only returned from their holidays recently, Martin Jol’s side could be suffering from a touch of ring rust but fortunately the Cottagers come up against Faroese outfit NSI Runavik and at a best price of 1/50 with Betfred a home win is considered almost as good as a foregone conclusion.
Of the dozen games the minnows have played in Europe they have won only one and have never progressed past the first qualifying round of any European competition so it’s hard to see Fulham slipping up but as their odds are so skinny, the value is in the extent of the victory.
