The Queen’s Carlton House is 5-4 favourite with Coral for Sunday’s Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby, following the final declarations for the Curragh Classic. Treasure Beach, one place ahead of the Royal runner in the Investec Derby, is 10-3 second favourite, ahead of his stablemate, Seville, at 6-1, and Native Khan and Roderic O’Connor, both 9-1.
“Favourite backers were left disappointed by Carlton House’s third place at Epsom, but with only seven rivals to face at the Curragh, Her Majesty’s horse is set to start hot favourite to gain Classic compensation on Sunday,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
