The Queen’s Carlton House, third in the Investec Derby, is 11-8 (from 6-4) favourite with Coral for Sunday’s Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby, following support for the Royal runner today. Treasure Beach, who finished one place ahead of Carlton House at Epsom, is 3-1 for the Curragh Classic, ahead of stablemate, Seville, at 5-1.
“Carlton House’s defeat at Epsom was a huge disappointment to both Her Majesty and many punters, but the colt has been well-backed to gain compensation in the Irish Derby, and if lining up, looks sure to start favourite at the Curragh,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
