A convincing 56-16 victory at Crusaders means Warrington top the Super League table on points difference and the Wolves are now favourites at a best price of 10/11 with Stan James, to still be in first place at the end of the regular season.
Tony Smith’s side also head the Grand Final betting in places, although at a best price of 6/4 with Totesport, they share favouritism with defending champions Wigan, whose 20-12 defeat at Catalans Dragons saw them drop to third and drift to 11/8 (Betfred) in the regular season market.
Huddersfield have the same number of points as Warrington but are not given much hope of finishing first in the table, Skybet pricing them at 12/1 and the same firm quote them at an unchanged 10/1 to emerge triumphant in autumn’s Grand Final.
Slightly shorter are St Helens, at 13/2 with Sportingbet to prevail at Old Trafford and Saints are 12/1 courtesy of William Hill for regular season glory after a convincing victory at the Halton Stadium against Leeds, now out to 16/1 (Stan James) for the Grand Final.
