Carlton House heads Coral’s betting for Saturday’s Investec Derby at 7-4, following the final declarations for the Epsom Classic. Pour Moi is the 4-1 second favourite, ahead of Recital at 9-2.
“Carlton House remains favourite for the big race, although unsurprisingly all the money this week has been for his rivals, following the injury scare to the Queen’s horse. We now have to wait to see if the Royal runner gets the green light, and if he does, his backers will breathe a huge sigh of relief, as will all race fans, as a Derby without Carlton House will be hugely disappointing,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
