The Listed West Sussex County Times On House Stakes has gone the way of some progressive sorts in recent seasons and Rainfall (3:10) is fancied to land this afternoon’s renewal on her debut for her new connections.
The Oasis Dream filly won the Group 3 Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot last year for Mark Johnston and scored again over 7f at the Berkshire track in September.
A winner on her racecourse debut last May, the four-year-old also finished placed in Group 1 company on two occasions last term, most recently when third in the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket on her final outing.
Despite not having won over this mile trip to date, it shouldn’t prove an issue and she has the class to make a winning start in the Royal Blue of Godolphin.
