Live on Eurosport: from Mon 23rd: Caroline Wozniacki should be the one to watch at the women’s French Open; she is 6/1 with Coral.
Sitting a clear 1st in the 2011 WTA rankings and top of the world rankings, Caroline Wozniacki is a good shout to win what looks to be a very tricky women’s field at Roland Garros.
Kim Clijsters, who is very successful in the tournaments she actually enters, is a good looking price at 10/1 (Ladbrokes) and should be watched closely as she has recovered from injury in time while Victoia Azarenka is the 11/2 tournament fav with Boylesports.
One to watch could be Chinese player Li Na. After reaching the Australian final, she went off the boil, barely winning a match but has roared back into form with back to back clay semi finals at Rome and Madrid, and could well be worth following at 33/1 (Boylesports).
Defending champion Francesca Schiavone is 20/1 with Ladbrokes but looks to be struggling in 2011 as she comes to Roland Garros.
Lastly, Maria Sharapova will want to continue her return to form but at 8/1 (Skybet) could be a touch short in the odds.
