Live on Skysports 1 & 3: Thu 10.30 & 20.00: Angus Loughran previews this week’s Open de Espana and the Wells Fargo and picks his bets.
*Following last week’s successes with Bubba Watson, Dustin Johnson and KJ Choi, Angus has some more great golf tips for us this week;
Matteo Manassero is only just 18 but has already won twice on European Tour and has a great chance of winning for a 3rd time this week at the Open de Espana.
Heavy rain on Tuesday evening leaves the course in perfect shape and Manassero is 14/1 (Blue Square) to land the Spanish Open. Alexandro Canizares looks a big price at 50/1 (Ladbrokes) while Alvaro Quiros can lead the home challange at 12/1 fav with Coral.
Rory Mcllroy is 14/1 with Paddy Power to defend the Wells Fargo Classic at Quail Hollow where Scot Martin Laird, already a winner at Bay Hill, looks over the odds at 35/1 () while it is surely only a matter of time before Brendon de Jonge rewards backers and bet365 are too big at 60/1.
Gary Woodland is also an outsider who has a far better chance than his odds of 80/1 suggest (Betdaq).
Good luck
Angus Loughran
