Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Friday, both at Bangor; Tatispout in the 6.45 and Rackham Lerouge at 7.45
An impressive winner at Stratford just 12 days ago Tatispout (6:45) is fancied to follow up under a 7lb penalty at Bangor-On-Dee this evening.
Charlie Longsdon’s filly pushed recent Ayr winner Remember Now close at Stratford in March, before flopping when fancied at the same course on 1 April. The four-year-old bounced back last time, however, when positive tactics were employed and with conditions in her favour she can strike again.
Later on the card it is worth giving another chance to Rackham Lerouge (7:45) who hasn’t been seen since trailing home last of three in a novice chase here in early February.
A half-brother to the top-class hurdler Punchestowns, Nicky Henderson’s course winner scored on his second start over fences, having run well against Medermit on his fencing bow at Plumpton in December.
A mark of 132 may underestimate him and, with conditions likely to prove ideal, he is taken to bounce back to form on his handicap debut.
Friday’s selections:
6:45 Bangor-On-Dee: Tatispout
7:45 Bangor-On-Dee: Rackham Lerouge
