Following his third victory in Thursday’s Aintree Hurdle bookmakers William Hill have issued a price of 5/1 that Big Buck’s is NEVER beaten throughout the rest of his career.
Paul Nicholls’s charge looked in a different league when facing off against his classiest rival Grand Crus this afternoon – simply annihilating the opposition to win on the bridle, and notching up his 12th straight victory in the process.
The Stewart-family owned eight-year-old was also cut to 5/4 from 6/4 to win a fourth consecutive World Hurdle at Cheltenham next year.
Kate Miller, spokeswoman for William Hill, said: ‘’to quote the famous Sir Peter O’Sullevan. ‘’This is the one, this is the champion, this is the best we’ve seen for a very long time.’’ At present, it seems only an act of God could see him being beaten over hurdles.’’
