Woods Well Backed

Tiger Woods is the best backed US Masters entrant on Wednesday according to Ladbrokes, the former winner is currently 12/1.

Despite proving unpopular at the start of the betting he now becomes a significant losing result after several five figure bets were struck today at 12/1.

Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell remain standout 33/1 and 50/1 chances respectively with the patriotic money still firmly behind Lee Westwood.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We would have been in the rare situation of cheering on Tiger at Augusta but that’s all changed now. He joins Westwood at the top of the book and we’ll be hoping Poulter’s prediction is accurate.”
