Mark Selby was the main mover in the betting following the first round draw for the World Snooker Championships today, into 13/2 (Coral).
The 2007 runner-up was given a favourable draw and was cut to 13/2 (from 8/1) by Coral bookmakers.
John Higgins and Ronnie O’Sullivan are the 11/2 joint favourites to win.
“This is the most open championship for many years, and though Selby looks to have an easy draw on paper, the game is played on green baize and there are no easy ties at the crucible,” said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.
The event starts on April 16th at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield.
