Menorah is the 3-1 favourite with Coral for the Champion Hurdle, following the news that ante-post favourite Binocular will not be defending his title on Tuesday. Hurricane Fly and Peddlers Cross are 7-2 joint second favourites, ahead of Oscar Whisky at 9-1.
“Binocular’s absence is a huge blow to connections, and is also a major disappointment to racing fans, as the defence of his title promised to be one of the highlights of the Festival,” Coral‘s David Stevens told betrescue.com
“His ante post backers have also been hit, as he’s been a rock solid favourite since his Christmas Hurdle win, but in his absence, Menorah is now the one to beat in our book,” added Stevens.
