Mourad has been cut to 8/1 (from 10/1) for the Ladbrokes World Hurdle by totesport following the news that Solwhit will miss the race after disappointing Charles Byrnes in his latest workout.
Solwhit had been a 12/1 shot for the staying event but his absence has also led to Fiveforthree shortening in the market (12/1 from 14/1) whilst Zaynar is a 16/1 chance (from 20/1).
Elsewhere in the Festival betting markets, Rock Noir has been popular for the Arkle and is now a 16/1 shot (from 20/1) with totesport. Jonjo O’Neill’s gelding has multiple entries at Cheltenham but several punters have been taking advantage of the non-runner no bet concession to back him.
Knight Pass has also been the subject of some decent support for the Weatherby’s Champion Bumper and now heads the market outright with totesport at 8/1 (from 9/1).
