Celtic To Continue Domination

Live on BBC Alba & Skysports 4: Sat 15.00 & Sun 12.45: Celtic are 10/11 (Coral) to beat Hamilton without reply in the SPL this weekend.

Celtic are still on-course for the treble and can take another three points at home against Hamilton where they are Betfred’s red-hot 1/6 jollies.

That price is no surprise considering the Accies lost seven of their last eight against the Bhoys, although they did take a point against them in January. With Celtic winning three of their last four ‘to nil’ against the visitors here, though, Coral’s 10/11 for a repeat catches the eye.

Rangers are not out of the title race just yet, however, and the Gers should have little trouble in taking a maximum haul at St Mirren, according to Totesport who install them as 2/5 favourites.

These two sides know plenty about each other having clashed six times last season where Walter Smith’s men came out triumphant on five occasions. Rangers also won their only meeting this term at St Mirren Park 3-1, and a repeat would not be out of the question at Betdaq’s 13.0 (12/1).

Third take on fourth at Tynecastle where Hearts host Kilmarnock in a match make the hosts 5/6 to pull further clear of their nearest rivals in the race for third-spot.

Hearts have bossed things between them since January 2009, winning six of their seven meetings, although the last four all came via one-goal margins. Paddy Power quote 23/10 for the home side to prevail by the same one-goal cushion this time around, while Stan James flag up 7/1 for a 2-1 home victory.

Inverness host fifth-placed Motherwell in what could be a tight game according to 888sport who make the home side their narrow 6/4 favourites to nick this clash.

History also dictates that this will be a close call, as just a single goal separated them in five of their last eight meetings, where two were drawn. A draw is 11/5 courtesy of Totesport, while William Hill post 16/5 for Caley to nick it by a one-goal margin.

Aberdeen fans have to wait until Monday for the Dons’ visit to Dundee United where risk 3/1 about the away side landing all three points.

There should be goals here as the pair have not exchanged a goalless encounter since 1998, while the Dons scored on their last four visits to Tannadice. Odds-on investors can make almost 50% of their stake about Aberdeen scoring once more at this venue (40/85, Partybets) while bet365 pay 11/4 for two away goals or more.

St Johnstone will need to start finding the net soon as 360 minutes have passed since their last goal, but they have the opportunity to put that right at home to Hibernian tomorrow where Betfred install them as 11/8 jollies.

Saints won this fixture 2-0 back in October, and a repeat this time around is 8/1 with Ladbrokes, while Partybets go 11/5 for the hosts winning ‘to nil’.
