Coral has trimmed Zarkander to 8/1 clear third favourite (from 10/1) for the JCB Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham, following support today. Grandouet heads the Triumph betting at 5/1, with the Dermot Weld-trained Unaccompanied next at 6/1.
“As a half brother to the brilliant Zarkava, a Cheltenham Festival win may not have been the initial aim when Zarkava was born, but he was most impressive at Kempton, and punters clearly believe he can emulate Soldatino’s Adonis/Triumph double from twelve months ago,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
