Huddersfield Town can get back to winning ways in League One with a victory over Leyton Orient; a 5/6 chance with Coral.
A ten-match unbeaten streak in the league means Huddersfield are genuine contenders for automatic promotion and although three consecutive draws have slightly slowed their progress, they’re decent value at 5/6 with Coral to get back on track by beating Leyton Orient.
The O’s are unbeaten in a dozen in all competitions and have lost just once in 21 outings, a sequence that includes that stunning draw with Arsenal last Sunday, so they arrive at the Galpharm Stadium in buoyant mood but it could be a case of ‘after the Lord Mayor’s show’ for Russell Slade’s side, who might find it a little tough to raise themselves with half an eye on their FA Cup replay at the Emirates Stadium next week.
After a bit of a wobble, Exeter have steadied the ship by registering two wins and a draw, all away from home, in their last three. Back at St James’ Park the Grecians, at 21/20 (888Sport) can collect another three-point haul at the expense of Hartlepool.
The visitors’ results remain fairly hit-and-miss but on their travels they’ve struggled lately, taking just a point from their last five and conceding four times in each of their last three. Exeter isn’t the easiest place to go either and it’s hard to see ‘Pool making the long journey home with anything to show for their efforts.
Bet365 rate Brentford at a safe-looking 3/4 to overcome Bristol Rovers but it’s the latter’s leaky defence that punters should focus on at Griffin Park. The Pirates have conceded a remarkable 25 times in six away matches and the Bees can get amongst the goals on their own patch, where bet365 make them 4/6 to strike twice.
Brentford marksman Charlie McDonald meanwhile is 13/8 (Boylesports) to find the net but the best bet, given that Nicky Forster’s side have scored in the first period in four of their last five home games, is William Hill’s 6/4 for them to grab a goal in each half.
