Norwich can boost their promotion chase with 3 more points as they take on struggling Doncaster; the Canaries are 8/15 (Coral).
Doncaster are in freefall having lost seven of their last eight and a worrying factor for Rovers in that run is their lack of goals as six of those losses have been ‘to nil’. An excellent Norwich team have to be fancied then to inflict more misery on Sean O’Driscoll’s injury-hit side and indeed the Canaries have already attracted cash and are currently just 8/15 at Coral to boost their promotion hopes with a maximum haul.
Paul Lambert’s troops should dominate the contest and it’s easy to see them running out comfortable winners. Backing them in the handicaps is a potentially more lucrative alternative to the match odds and starting from a goal behind, the hosts are an enticing 11/8 courtesy of 888Sport.
Leaders QPR don’t lose many games but they have drawn plenty of late and for that reason they’re not worth the risk at 3/4 with Totesport as they host rejuvenated Ipswich. In fact, the Tractor Boys, 9/2 underdogs have improved sufficiently under Paul Jewell to suggest that they have decent claims in the ‘Double Chance’ betting where Coral rate them at 5/4 to avoid defeat.
Elsewhere, Leicester are 19/10 (888Sport) to record a sixth straight win, although opponents, fourth-placed Cardiff have only lost twice at home all season and so punters should tread carefully, perhaps tackling the Foxes ‘Draw No Bet’ at even money (Paddy Power).
Reading meanwhile, can get back to winning ways as they host Millwall, a result available at evens with William Hill and Watford, who drew with the Royals on Saturday, are quoted by Betfred at 4/5 to send Bristol City home empty-handed.
