Not Til Monday would be a fitting winner on the opening day of the week and, while the recent Plumpton winner is respected, the tissue favourite is taken on with Cresswell Crusader (2:35) at Lingfield this afternoon.
The selection receives 7lbs from his main market rival, plus his rider Rachel Green claims a further 5lb, and that can sway things in favour of the impressive Chepstow bumper winner.
After that 12-length success last February, the seven-year-old wasn’t sighted until chasing home the potentially smart Shuil Royale at Warwick on New Year’s Eve.
The winner franked the form by winning again at Wincanton last week and a reproduction of that form should enable the son of Overbury to score on his debut over timber.
