Tim Easterby’s FOURJACKS (3:20) has shown plenty of promise in three starts in bumpers and is fancied to land Newcastle’s Meyertimber.com Novices’ Hurdle on Wednesday.
The son of Karinga Bay has finished runner-up on all three outings to date, but looks the type to improve considerably now he is upped in trip and faced with obstacles to jump.
The Trevor Hemmings owned six-year-old moves like a potentially useful sort and it is surely only a matter of time before a first victory comes his way.
