David Pipe’s Grand Crus has been cut to 10/1 (from 12/1) by Coral after being backed to win the World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
The hat-trick seeker takes in the Cleeve Hurdle on route to a potential clash with staying star, Big Bucks, at The Festival.
“Two impressive wins have seen Pipe’s charge shorten considerably for the World Hurdle and a win on Saturday will make him the leading challenger for Big Buck’s staying crown,” said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.
In other news, Totesport Trophy favourite, Tocca Ferro, has been removed from the betting after the news that Emma Lavelle’s grey will be out for the season after picking up an injury on the gallops.
The Willie Mullins trained Final Approach is now the 7/1 favourite with Coral for the Newbury showpiece in a fortnights time.
