Lowly Hereford are stringing together the wins in League Two and can be backed at 17/5 () to beat Accrington Stanley.
Hereford may still be sitting in the League Two relegation zone, but their recent form belies their lowly position and it’s surely only a matter of time before the Bulls climb away from danger. Jamie Pitman’s side have won four in a row in all competitions and finally landed their first home victory of the campaign last weekend, so they look somewhat overpriced at 17/5 with , to register a fifth straight win against Accrington, who were turned over by Shrewsbury at home in midweek.
Admittedly, Stanley are fairly strong at the Crown Ground as a rule and it will be far from easy for the Bulls but we just think the price is too big given their form.
Hereford’s survival chances however, could be dealt a blow in the next couple of weeks, given that star striker Mathieu Manset is being tracked by the likes of Reading. The young Frenchman has four in his last three and is a tasty 2/1 (William Hill) to underline his importance to Pitman’s troops by striking again in this one.
It’s six-pointer time at Edgeley Park as Stockport face Lincoln. Neither side really possesses strong claims in terms of backing them to collect maximum points but the Hatters’ leaky defence – they’ve conceded 28 times in nine games – and the fact that the Imps have shipped 17 goals in six outings, point to a high-scoring affair. William Hill’s 12/5 for the clash to produce more than 3.5 goals is therefore hard to ignore.
