Paul Ferguson, has opted for Lord Ragnar today in the 1.20 at Bangor. BANGOR has been abandoned.
Predictive loves the mud, but Donald McCain’s grey may struggle to concede 7lbs to Lord Ragnar (1:20) in Bangor’s York Brewery Novices’ Chase.
The selection represents in-form trainer Nicky Henderson, who has saddled eight winners and five seconds since the turn of the year, and the eight-year-old looks type to take his form to another level over fences.
He is bred to appreciate a better surface, but he won a soft ground novice handicap hurdle at Newbury last March, so should be able to cope with conditions.
Friday’s selection:
1:20 Bangor Lord Ragnar
