Peter Taylor’s Bradford are 4/6 (888sport) to see off a Barnet side winless in 10 attempts on the road in League Two.
Bradford have found a bit of form of late to rise to within three points of the play-offs and it’s hard to see bottom club Barnet, on the back of five defeats in six, troubling the Bantams at Valley Parade. The Bees have a dismal 0-2-8 record away from home, so it’s little wonder that Peter Taylor’s men have are odds-on at 4/6 with 888Sport for the points, however, the visitors have at least found the net in all five of those recent losses and it could be worth banking on them to do so again.
William Hill’s 10/11 for both teams to score is therefore worth considering although is Bradford are to win and Barnet are to score then it has to follow that there will be more than 2.5 goals (19/20, bet365) and that tally combines with a home win at 17/10 courtesy of Partybets.
Aldershot have won just once on their own patch since their first home match of the campaign and their poor record at the Recreation Ground makes them look vulnerable against rejuvenated Oxford. The U’s have won four out of their last five, culminating in Monday’s thrilling 4-3 triumph at Torquay and they look overpriced at 9/5 with Ladbrokes to capitalise on the Shots’ patchy form.
A last-gasp Scott Boden goal handed Chesterfield all three points when they met Southend earlier in the campaign and the Spireites forward also struck late in the day to earn his side a point at Accrington on Monday. That was a very fortunate draw for John Sheridan’s men, by their boss’ own admission and with that the latest in a few unconvincing performances from the League Two leaders, we feel their luck could run out as they renew hostilities with the Shrimpers at Roots Hall.
Admittedly Paul Sturrock’s men were beaten at home last time out by Cheltenham, but they preceded that with a couple of away wins and definitely look a little large at 2.75 (7/4) with Betdaq as they seek revenge over the Spireites.
