Exeter can follow their 5-1 win over Sheff Wednesday in League 1 with another home win at 6/5 (Totesport) as they host Swindon
Only one game survived the weather in League One last week, as Exeter crushed Sheffield Wednesday 5-1 at St James’ Park.
The visitors have no form to speak of, particularly on the road, where they have managed just one win in nine and last time out they went down at home to non-league Crawley in an FA Cup replay. Couple this with Exeter’s strength on their own patch and Totesport’s home win price of 6/5 starts to look particularly attractive.
Also primed for a home win are Leyton Orient. The O’s are better than their position suggests, having lost just one of their last dozen in league and cup and Russell Slade’s men have also been getting amongst the goals too. They have to be fancied then at 11/8 (Stan James) as they face a travel-sick MK Dons side that has carded eight defeats in ten away fixtures.
Elsewhere, leaders Brighton’s only win in eight matches across all competitions came against FC United and so they can’t be relied upon to beat a Dagenham outfit encouraged by an impressive 2-0 away win at Carlisle last time out.
The Daggers look too big at 3/1 courtesy of but as the Seagulls still have a relatively solid look about them, we’re more inclined to take out a little insurance and opt for bet365’s 7/4 about the hosts ‘Draw No Bet’.
Away value meanwhile, comes in the shape of Plymouth who head to Bournemouth. The Cherries looked short of firepower when going down 1-0 at home to Hartlepool, Eddie Howe’s men perhaps suffering after the departure of the prolific Josh McQuoid to Millwall, and the Pilgrims, at 10/3 (), could capitalise.
