Paul Ferguson is back to his daily selections as Hawafeez has caught his eye today at the 1.20 Lingfield
Lingfield stages an interesting fillies’ maiden amongst the usual clutch of all-weather handicaps on Tuesday in which Hawaafez (1:20) is fancied to get off the mark at the second time of asking.
The daughter of Nayef made a pleasing debut when third over C&D just 13 days ago and that initial racecourse experience should aid her cause here.
Both trainer, Marcus Tregoning, and jockey, George Baker, are in fine form and the pair boast a 33% strike-rate (4 wins from 12) when teaming up over the last five seasons.
