The Champions League enters the 6th and final round of group games On Tuesday and while the majority of matches are dead rubbers, Rubin Kazan have the faintest of hopes of getting through.

Rubin Kazan can be massively encouraged by the fact that they won this equivalent fixture in last year’s group stages, travelling and shocking Barcelona with a 2-1 win last October. It’s 25/1 (Totesport) for a repeat of that scoreline but it must be taken into consideration that Barcelona have finished top of group D regardless of the outcome. Their La Liga form is terrifyingly good but without many top names, Kazan have a slim chance of a draw with a goal headstart (11/4, Stan James).
Elsewhere, Tottenham are 11/8 with William Hill to win away at FC Twente and the Dutch side may have been slightly underestimated at 21/10 (888sport). Again, Spurs have qualified and whilst Twente cannot progress, they are a stubborn outfit at home so the 21/10 with bet365 about the draw is quite attractive. Shorter odds backers could consider Skybet’s ‘Twente or Draw’ on the double chance market at 8/13.
Benfica must heavily beat the already-qualified Schalke to stand any chance of making it to the 2nd round but at 17/20 (Stan James), the Portuguese side look a little short – Schalke to win at evens with a goal headstart looks a good thing (Skybet).
Man United are in action and have yet to concede in this year’s tournament; another clean sheet against Valencia is 13/10 (Paddy Power), the win 8/11 (Partybets) and another ‘win to nil’ 7/4 (bet365). Javier Hernandez could find himself amongst the goals, Stan James make him 15/8 to score at any time.
Rangers are 12/5 (Ladbrokes) to win a tricky tie in Bursaspor, which the Turkish side have a very good chance of winning (13/10 William Hill), Lyon are 4/11 with Coral to beat Tel-Aviv and Inter Milan are 5/4 (Betdaq) to win away at Werder Bremen.
