Arsenal v Fulham
ARSENAL will be without captain Cesc Fabregas (hamstring) for a number of weeks but they have no fresh injuries so look to name the same squad that travelled to Villa and Samir Nasri is fit despite a knock on Tuesday. Moussa Dembele (ankle) will not feature for FULHAM but Andy Johnson (hamstring) could make a timely comeback while it’s too soon for Carlos Salcido (ankle)
Birmingham v Tottenham
Craig Gardner is ready to return for BIRMINGHAM but perhaps as far as the bench while Alexander Hleb (hamstring) is a doubt, as is Sebastian Larsson (hamstring). SPURS lose another centre-back in the form of Younes Kaboul (hip) and can count on the absence of Rafael van der Vaart (hamstring) for a month while Jermaine Jenas and Robbie Keane could be available.
Blackburn v Wolverhampton
BLACKBURN are without Steven Nzonzi (hamstring) and Vince Grella (Achiles) but have a real chance of welcoming back Morten Gamst Pedersen and Nikola Kalinic for the weekend. Steven Mouyokolo steps back into the fold for WOLVES but Jody Craddock (thigh) has suffered a setback and Jelle Van Damme has left the club while Dave Edwards (thigh) improves slowly.
Chelsea v Everton
Michael Essien and John Terry are a massive boost for CHELSEA but the latter’s return allows Alex (knee) to undergo surgery while Frank Lampard (hernia) has an outside chance of being fit. As Marouane Fellaini is available after suspension, EVERTON lose Mikel Arteta to the same fate but Phil Neville is fit to play following a knee problem that kept him out last weekend.
Man City v Bolton
MAN CITY are nearly injury-free as Emmanuel Adebayor is fit for selection but is likely to miss out to Mario Balotelli if the latter overcomes a little hamstring tweak suffered miweek. Stuart Holden (thigh) is a major doubt for BOLTON and Ricardo Gardner (thigh) and Sean Davis (knee) are near but not ready quite yet while Martin Petrov is in contention for a start against his old club.
Wigan v Stoke
Victor Moses (shoulder) faces a long spell of up to 3 months on the sidelines for WIGAN but Gary Caldwell should be fit again after sitting out midweek and Hugo Rodallega is available after serving a 3-match ban. STOKE are sweating on the fitness of Jermaine Pennant (hamstring) and Andy Wilkinson (knee) after both were replaced at half time last weekend.
Blackpool v Man United
Alex Baptiste is in contention for BLACKPOOL as is Dekel Keinan but Marlon Harewood (hamstring) continues to miss out and ‘keeper Paul Rachubka has been rocked by the news that he cannot join the 25-man squad until another ‘keeper is injured. Paul Scholes is fit and ready following a groin problem and MAN UTD have no fresh injuries to worry about.
West Brom v Newcastle – Sun
Youssuf Mulumbu is set to miss out for WEST BROM through suspension but Roberto di Matteo’s only injury concern is to Jonas Olsson (Achilles). Joey Barton returns from suspension for NEWCASTLE so Danny Guthrie or Wayne Routledge will make way while Fabricio Coloccini and Mike Williamson are still suspended and Kevin Nolan (ankle) is very unlikely to feature.
Sunderland v West Ham – Sun
John Mensah (shoulder) will continue to play through the pain barrier for SUNDERLAND now Michael Turner (knee) is out until the New Year. WEST HAM’s injuries are easing slightly as Lars Jacobsen, Frederic Piquionne, Valon Behrami and Danny Gabbidon should all shake off knocks and Jonathan Spector may get a start but Mark Noble (ankle) is out for a few more weeks.
Liverpool v Aston Villa – Mon
Jamie Carragher (shoulder) is set to join Steven Gerrard (hamstring) and Dan Agger (calf) in the treatment room at LIVERPOOL after a dislocation. Ashley Young will sit out one game through suspension for ASTON VILLA, adding to a long list of absentees, and Barry Bannan (groin) is also a slight doubt following the midweek game but Carlos Cuellar is available.
