It’s Champions Day over in Ireland, where Tiger Moth (5:15) is taken to land the 12-furlong Group 3, for Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore.
The Galileo colt won his maiden here at Leopardstown, after which he run a huge race when runner-up in the Irish Derby on just his third career start. He travelled very well that day, pulling nicely clear of the remainder, and only failing by a head. Stable-mate Santiago might well have advertised the form earlier in the day at Doncaster, and this looks a good opportunity for him to land a first Group success.
