It’s a relatively quiet day for Saturday standards this afternoon, with the most interesting runner being Domino Darling at Newmarket. The once-raced three-year-old is sure to be very short, but is certainly one to watch closely with the remainder of the season in mind.
As for the day’s selection, we’re heading north to Redcar, where Weather Front (7:45) can go well in the concluding staying handicap. The seven-year-old came from a long way off the pace to finish runner-up at Haydock last time, on what was his first start for Iain Jardine and his first start since February. Up in trip and with that run under his belt, he can improve on that, and with the dead eight going to post, it is hoped that he is available at an each-way price.
