Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Wednesday; Celestran in the Yarmouth 12.45. Compare odds and bet.
A winner on his second start at two, Celestran (12:45) returns to action on what looks a favourable mark, and can take the opener from Yarmouth on Wednesday.
Third on debut at Newmarket (runner-up Naizagai re-opposes on better terms), John Gosden’s Dansili colt was keen early-on, and showed greenness when asked to quicken down the wide outside. He probably didn’t need to improve too much to win at Wolverhampton, in a race which worked out well subsequently, with the second and fourth winning over the Festive period.
Given that he had the option of reappearing in the Listed Derby Trial at Lingfield on Friday, this looks a good opportunity off an opening mark of 82.
Wednesday’s selection:
12:45 Yarmouth – Celestran; 3/1 William Hill
