“Twelve months ago, Imperial Commander just failed to overhaul the 4/6 favourite and reigning Gold Cup hero, Kauto Star, in the Betfair Chase, and now the former occupies the position as Gold Cup winner and odds-on favourite for the Haydock race, and will be the one to beat on Saturday,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
