BENIE DES DIEUX (1:50) returns to action at Gowran Park this afternoon, and she can land the Galmoy Hurdle.
The mare goes well fresh and would, of course, have landed the Mares Hurdle at Cheltenham (after more than 10 months off) but for a final flight fall.
The winner of the French Champion Hurdle (3m1f) when last seen, this is her first start over 3m on home soil and a strongly run race might well test her stamina reserves. However, Gowran would be the stiffest of tracks and I expect her to make a winning return in what should prove to be an informative contest.
