An impressive bumper winner at Fontwell, KID COMMANDO (1:40) can make a winning debut over hurdles on Monday.
The six-year-old has more recently run well in defeat in a couple of strong Ascot bumpers and provided he doesn’t find the track too sharp, really ought to score for an in-form Anthony Honeyball.
Up at Newcastle CLONDAW CAITLIN (2:30) can make it two from two over hurdles for Ruth Jefferson.
A winner at Wetherby on debut (also won a bumper at the same venue), that form was given a boost last week when Hawthorn Cottage (3rd) won a handicap off 108 at Doncaster, and she can defy the penalty.
