Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Wednesday; Keep Wondering in the Haydock 13:20. Compare odds and bet.
Haydock stages a decent card on Wednesday, where the Watch Racing TV Maiden Hurdle looks a match between Bally Connor and Keep Wondering (1:20).
The former looked a sure-fire future winner when runner-up in a handicap off 119 last time and Ruth Jefferson’s horses have been improving for their first start of the season. She has saddled two winners from just six runners during the past fortnight, so he isn’t easily taken on.
However, the form of Keep Wondering’s Aintree second looks a bit stronger, with the winner a promising individual and the third having won at Bangor last weekend. He had earlier won a maiden Point, beating Barrowlands who won over hurdles for Jamie Snowden recently, and the step up in trip is likely to suit. He was also not far behind Minella Trump (winner for Donald McCain over hurdles recently) when slipping up on his penultimate start in the Points sphere, so his form is fairly solid. He gets the vote.
Wednesday’s selection:
1:20 Haydock – Keep Wondering; 10/11 Unibet
