Chepstow stages a cracking card on Friday, where LISNAGAR OSCAR (3:20) is fancied to land the novices’ chase for an in-form Rebecca Curtis.
The six-year-old was a smart novice hurdler last term and although not the biggest, the former winning Pointer jumps well and is very athletic. This looks a decent event, but he is capable of taking fairly high rank in this division and can make a winning start.
The concluding mares’ only novices’ Hurdle can go the way of Paul Nicholls for a third successive season, courtesy of SILVER FOREVER (5:35).
A bumper winner at this track last November, she is another former winning Pointer who promises to flourish over hurdles now she goes up in distance. Her bumper form is solid and she beat the smart Annie Mc in her Irish Point.
