His earlier third in the hotly-contested London Gold Cup at Newbury is a strong piece of form and with conditions in his favour, Andrew Balding’s son of Dabirsim looks capable of going close again.
Of the opposition, fellow three-year-old Davydenko is respected, as he looked ready for a step up to this sort of trip last time, but Good Birthday looks a solid alternative.
