Irish-raider Go Another One (2:40) can land the Signature Collection Novices’ Chase at Worcester on Sunday, for John McConnell and Richard Johnson.
A smart novice hurdler (won five times including a Listed event at Perth and a Grade 3 Thurles), the seven-year-old finished fifth behind Minella Indo at the Punchestown Festival and made a winning chase debut at Clonmel in June. He has since finished third – behind a couple of useful sorts – in a maiden on the Flat at Leopardstown, and despite conceding weight to all, he is very much the one to beat.
His only serious danger would appear to be the Dan Skelton-trained Notnow Seamus, who will hopefully make him a backable price. Rated 7lbs his inferior, he receives 6lbs from the selection here and needs to bounce back from a fall at Newton Abbot, when he appeared to slip on landing down the far side. He had jumped up really well at the previous fence and was in the process of running a big race.
