Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Tuesday; Soto Sizzler in the Goodwod 1.50 and Zero Ten in the 5.55 at Galway. Compare odds and bet.
Glorious Goodwood gets underway with a really competitive handicap, in which Soto Sizzler (1:50) can go well for William Knight and Oisin Murphy.
A winner at this meeting last year, the four-year-old has progressed nicely this season, winning twice at Epsom, further confirming his liking for a downhill track. The drop in trip is a slight concern, but he still looks capable of going well and gets the each-way vote.
Over at Galway, Zero Ten (5:55) should be difficult to beat in the 2m2f beginners chase.
Emmet Mullins’ six-year-old won a bumper at this meeting 12 months ago and followed up at the track on his debut over hurdles. A former winning Pointer, he won smoothly at the Punchestown Festival when last sighted and given the owner’s association with the course, this has probably been the plan for some time. A clear round should suffice.
Tuesday’s selections:
1:50 Glorious Goodwood – Soto Sizzler; 8/1 Bet365
5:55 Galway Festival – Zero Ten; 5/6 Unibet
